DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Friday, November 27th, 2027, to arrive in Berlin by 4 pm on the tour start date of Saturday, November 28th, 2027. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in before the tour begins.
DAY 2: Arrival In Berlin, Germany
Arrive in Berlin and begin exploring the city’s historic center. See the Reichstag, Brandenburg Gate, and elegant Gendarmenmarkt, one of Berlin’s most beautiful historic squares and a festive setting during the Christmas season. Enjoy your first taste of Berlin’s holiday atmosphere before settling into your hotel near Charlottenburg. Overnight in Berlin
DAY 3: Berlin
Choose to attend morning church services, rest from the flight or explore the neighborhood. Visit Checkpoint Charlie and learn about the city’s Cold War history, then explore the Berlin Wall Memorial and its preserved sections of the former border. Continue to Alexanderplatz, where you can experience one of Berlin’s lively Christmas markets and enjoy the festive atmosphere of the city. Overnight in Berlin
DAY 4: Berlin
Discover the intriguing world of espionage at the German Spy Museum, then continue to Potsdamer Platz, a striking example of Berlin’s transformation after reunification. Visit Berlin Cathedral and, if desired, climb the dome tower for panoramic views across the city. Enjoy another evening experiencing Berlin’s Christmas markets and seasonal traditions. DAY 5: Leipzig
Travel to Leipzig, a historic city with a rich musical, cultural, and political heritage. Visit the Gedenkstätte Museum in der „Runden Ecke,“ housed in the former headquarters of the East German secret police, the Stasi, and learn about life under the communist regime. Explore Leipzig’s historic Marktplatz and its famous Christmas market before enjoying dinner at the legendary Auerbachs Keller. Overnight in Leipzig
DAY 6: Dresden
Stop by the Freiberg Germany Temple and learn about the faithful Saints behind the Berlin Wall who heralded its construction. Continue to Dresden, one of Germany’s most beautiful historic cities, and experience the famous Striezelmarkt, one of the country’s oldest Christmas markets. Browse the festive stalls, admire traditional German crafts and decorations, and sample seasonal treats. Overnight in Dresden
DAY 7: Dresden
Explore Dresden’s historic center, beginning along the Procession of Princes, a magnificent mural depicting centuries of Saxon rulers. Visit Dresden Castle and the Residence Palace, with time to explore the renowned Green Vault and its extraordinary collection of treasures. Continue through Neumarkt and enjoy Dresden’s beautifully decorated streets and Christmas market atmosphere. Overnight in Dresden
DAY 8: Prague Castle
Travel to Prague, the enchanting capital of the Czech Republic. Visit the historic Klementinum before exploring Prague Castle, St. George’s Basilica, and the surrounding castle district. Cross the iconic Charles Bridge and take in views of the Vltava River and Prague’s medieval skyline before enjoying the city’s festive Christmas markets. Overnight in Prague
DAY 9: Old Town Prague
Explore Prague’s Old Town, beginning at the Old Town Hall and its famous Astronomical Clock. Wander the charming medieval streets and Christmas markets of the historic center, with time to shop for traditional crafts and sample Czech holiday treats. End the day with an Advent river cruise along the Vltava, offering a memorable perspective of Prague illuminated for the Christmas season. Overnight in Prague
DAY 10: Return Flight from Prague
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 11 a.m. Travelers departing very early or after 11 a.m. should arrange their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Festive Markets: Central Europe tour scheduled for November/December 2027 will be $2,650 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount* is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:

Non-refundable deposit of $450 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2026, receive a $100 discount*, making the deposit $350.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
*Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2026. After December 31st, 2026, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Expertise of a tour guide throughout the tour

One carry-on suitcase and one personal item due to space restraints in rental vehicles
All accommodations, based on double occupancy; typically, 3 star hotels
Not included in the tour cost:
International airfare and any related expenses
Travel insurance
Expenses due to flight delays, strikes, inclement weather or other irregularities
Passport fees, visas (including ETIAS for EU entry) and visa photos as required
Personal items such as souvenirs, laundry services, beverages, snacks, and healthcare
Optional excursions as indicated in the itinerary
Meals as indicated in the tour itinerary
Checked baggage fees and excess baggage charges
Seat requests and seat upgrades

​Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.

Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Many reputable companies exist and you can look into any of them, but here are a few recommendations to consider: Allianz Global Assistance, TravelEx, World Nomads and Travel Guard.
