DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Monday, August 3rd, 2027, to arrive in London by 2 pm on the tour start date of Tuesday, August 4th, 2027. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in before the tour begins.
DAY 2: Arrival In England
Tour participants should arrive at London Heathrow Airport by 2 p.m. Those who arrive in the morning may participate in a visit to Hampton Court Palace (additional fee). Visit the famous hedge maze, Tudor knot garden and the state apartments at this splendid red-brick palace that was home to Henry VIII and several of his ill-fated wives. Overnight in London
DAY 3: London
Discover some of London’s most celebrated landmarks as you explore Piccadilly Circus, Trafalgar Square, and Covent Garden. Walk through the heart of the city before crossing the Millennium Bridge for views along the River Thames. End the day with the beautiful tradition of Evensong at St. Paul’s Cathedral. Overnight in London
DAY 4: London
Experience the grandeur and history of London as you see Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, Buckingham Palace, and Hyde Park. Explore Borough Market, one of London’s oldest and most vibrant food markets, before visiting the Tower of London and learning about its fascinating and often dramatic history. Overnight in London
DAY 5: Salisbury, Stonehenge & Avebury
Journey into the English countryside to explore Salisbury and the mysterious prehistoric monument of Stonehenge. Continue to Avebury, home to one of the largest prehistoric stone circles in the world. Along the way, enjoy the picturesque landscapes and villages of Wiltshire, where ancient history and traditional English countryside meet. Overnight in Avebury
DAY 6: The Cotswolds
Step into the past in the remarkably preserved village of Lacock, where centuries-old cottages and historic streets create the feeling of another era. Continue through the Cotswolds, visiting the charming villages of Bourton-on-the-Water and Broadway. Visit Gadfield Elm Chapel and Benbow Pond, significant surviving sites connected to the early history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Britain. Overnight in Worcester
DAY 7: The Peak District
Visit Worcester and learn about the early Latter-day Saint presence in the city and surrounding area. Afterward, enjoy a traditional English Sunday roast before traveling through the countryside to magnificent Chatsworth House. Explore the grand estate and gardens, long associated with generations of English aristocratic history. Overnight in Knutsford
DAY 8: Chester & Liverpool
Travel north to Chester, a historic city known for its Roman walls, medieval architecture, and distinctive black-and-white buildings. Continue to Liverpool, an important port in the story of the early Latter-day Saint Church, where thousands of converts gathered before beginning their journey to America. Discover the city’s maritime heritage and reflect on the experiences of the early British Saints. Overnight in Knutsford
DAY 9: Preston Temple & River Ribble
Visit the Preston England Temple and learn about the missionaries and early converts who helped establish the Church in this region. Dip your toes in the River Ribble where the first British converts were baptized by Heber C. Kimball and other early missionaries. Enjoy the peaceful landscapes of Lancashire before continuing north toward the Lake District. Overnight in Windermere
DAY 10: The Lake District
Explore the breathtaking Lake District, visiting the village of Grasmere and the scenic town of Keswick. Discover the ancient Castlerigg Stone Circle, dramatically situated among the surrounding fells. Continue into Scotland and stay at New Lanark Historic Mill Village, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that offers a fascinating glimpse into Britain’s industrial past. Overnight in New Lanark
DAY 11: Glasgow
Begin the day in Glasgow with a visit to the National Piping Centre and an introduction to the history and traditions of Scotland’s national instrument, the bagpipe. Continue to Edinburgh, Scotland’s historic capital, where medieval streets, grand architecture, and the imposing Edinburgh Castle create an unforgettable setting. Enjoy an evening exploring the city at your leisure. Overnight in Edinburgh
DAY 12: Edinburgh
Spend the day discovering Edinburgh’s historic Old Town and New Town, exploring its winding streets, historic landmarks, and dramatic castle views. In the evening, experience the world-famous Royal Edinburgh Military Tattoo, featuring military bands, traditional Scottish music, and spectacular performances against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle. Overnight in Edinburgh
DAY 13: Return Flight From Edinburgh
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 11 a.m. Travelers departing very early or after 11 a.m. should arrange their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The England and Scotland: Footsteps of the Saints tour scheduled for August 2027 will be $3,650 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount* is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:

Non-refundable deposit of $650 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2026 receive a $100 discount*, making the deposit $550.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
*Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2026. After December 31st, 2026, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

​Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.

Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
