Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Travel Day

International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before September 17th in order to arrive in Split, Croatia on the tour start date of September 18th.
DAY 2: Arrival in Split

Start your trip with a short drive to the gorgeous Amadria Park in Trogir. Settle into your 2-bedroom, air-conditioned unit with its full kitchen and covered porch. Familiarize yourself with the pools, shops, restaurants and water activities available to you throughout your stay here. Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 3: Trogir

Full of atmosphere, Trogir’s medieval old town is connected to the mainland by a bridge, adding to its quaint charm. An official UNESCO World Heritage Centre, this third-century settlement holds more than 2,300 years of tradition within its walls. Stroll along the cobblestone lanes amongst the shops, markets, churches, and gelato vendors that dot this compact island town. Optional scuba diving visit to Via Crucis underwater museum (additional fee). Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 4: Hvar and Blue Cave

Take a speedboat from Split to the small island of Bisevo, where the famed Blue Cave and other sea grottoes await. Trade to a smaller boat to explore the inside of this amazing natural phenomenon. After returning to the speedboat, spend the afternoon visiting island beaches to snorkel and/or dive (additional fee). Hvar, proud of its designation as the sunniest island in Europe, awaits with its clean beaches, imposing hilltop fortress and myriad boutique shops. Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 5: Split

Although it is Croatia’s second largest, Split is a coastal city, with a small-town vibe. Its one-of-a-kind mix of architecture and history on every cobblestoned corner provides ample distractions to pass a day. The crowning gem of Split is Diocletian’s Palace, which encompasses much of what is found within the Old Town walls. Climb the tower, shop at the Game of Thrones store, hike up the mountainside for an aerial view of the city and coastline, or watch a group of locals playing Picigin in the shallow bay. Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 6: Plitvice Lakes

Travel to Plitvice Lakes National Park to enjoy a day of exploring the crystal clear, blue-green waters of the park’s sixteen lakes, interconnected by cascading waterfalls. Walking along the wooden paths around the Upper Lakes, which are enveloped by the forest, you will be enthralled by their emerald-green color. If you take a walk through the canyon of the Lower Lakes, you will enjoy an enchanting view of surreal turquoise and deep blue shades. This full-day activity can be substituted for a full day of scuba diving (additional fee). Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 7: Resort Day

With choices such as cycling, fishing, swimming, archery, horseback riding, jet skiing and kayaking available on-site, there will be plenty of options to fill your day at Amadria Park. You can also choose to spend the day scuba diving. Additional fees apply for these activities. You are also able to spend the day soaking in the sun and enjoying a relaxing down day. Laundry facilities are available. Overnight in Trogir.
DAY 8: Southern Croatia

Take in the sights of the Dalmatian Coast as you travel from Split in the country’s center to Dubrovnik on its southern border. Along the way, stop for a stretch break in the quaint town of Ston, known for its well-preserved town walls, its salt works and its oysters. Spend the evening strolling the cobblestoned lanes that make up Old Town Dubrovnik. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 9: Dubrovnik

Paddle, scuba dive or ferry your way to Lokrum island, which boasts a lush botanical garden, natural pools and a thousand-year-old monastery. Return to Dubrovnik and scale the city walls for a leisurely walk that encompasses all of the Old Town and provides stunning views of the city and its harbor or extend your scuba diving to a full-day experience. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 10: Dubrovnik

With plenty of offshore locations to discover, enjoy a second full day of scuba diving in the waters around Dubrovnik. Alternatively, choose to visit the city’s seaside aquarium, Sponza palace, its many ornate churches or its various intriguing museums. For something extra special, take the cable car to the mountaintop overshadowing the city and enjoy the sunset over dinner or drinks. Overnight in Dubrovnik.
DAY 11: Mostar

Visit the historic town of Mostar in Bosnia-Herzegovina to the northeast of Dubrovnik. Mostar gets its name from the Old Bridge (Stari Most) which spans the deep valley of the Neretva River. Though the bridge, and much of the town, was destroyed during sectarian fighting in the 1990s, it has been painstakingly restored following its original design. Enjoy exploring the Old Bridge area, with its eclectic mix of Ottoman, Mediterranean and western European influences. Overnight near the Split airport.
DAY 12: Return Home

The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 9 a.m. Early departures or later departures should plan their own transportation to the airport.
