DAY 1: Travel Day

International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before June 28th, 2026 to arrive in Copenhagen by 10 am on the tour start date June 29th. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in prior to tour commencement.
DAY 2: Arrival in Denmark

Explore some of Copenhagen’s most iconic sites. Admire the striking architecture and serene interior of the Church of our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke), commonly known as the cathedral of Copenhagen. Continue to Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament, Supreme Court, and Royal Reception Rooms. Stroll along Nyhavn, Copenhagen’s famous harbor lined with brightly colored 17th-century houses, cafés, and wooden ships. Overnight in Copenhagen.
DAY 3: Copenhagen

Begin your day at Rosenborg Slot, where Denmark’s crown jewels and royal treasures are on display. Continue up the spiral ramp of the Round Tower for sweeping city views, then climb the dramatic staircase of Vor Frelsers Kirke for an unforgettable panorama. Pause at the celebrated Little Mermaid statue, a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale. End the day on the water, piloting your own electric boat through Copenhagen’s scenic canals at a leisurely pace. Overnight in Copenhagen.
DAY 4: Bornholm Island

Arrive by ferry to Bornholm, where the day is yours to design. Thrill-seekers can take on Denmark’s longest zipline, while others may prefer a sea kayaking trip along the rugged shoreline. The island also offers scenic trails, sandy beaches, and quaint villages to discover, ensuring something for every kind of traveler. With so many options, Bornholm promises a day of both adventure and relaxation. Overnight in Allinge.
DAY 5: Bornholm/Ystad

Enjoy a relaxed morning on Bornholm before boarding the ferry to Sweden. Arrive in Ystad and explore its cobbled streets and medieval half-timbered houses. Visit the historic Greyfriars Abbey or follow in the footsteps of Wallander in the town’s charming squares and winding lanes. Take time to soak in Ystad’s coastal charm before continuing on to Copenhagen in the evening. Overnight in Copenhagen.
DAY 6: Bergen

Take a short flight to Bergen, Norway—gateway to the fjords. Discover Bergen’s maritime charm. Ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the city and fjords, then wander through the old Hanseatic wharf, lively fish market, and artisan shops. Settle into your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll along the colorful Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Bergen.
DAY 7: Norse Waterfalls

Depart from Bergen and trek through Bordalsgjelet Gorge, following its narrow paths and rushing streams. Stop at the impressive Tvindefossen waterfall before continuing to Stalheim for breathtaking mountain views. Continue to the iconic Vøringsfossen waterfall, then visit Viking Valley to explore recreated longhouses and interactive exhibits. Conclude the day by relaxing at the cozy Liseth huts surrounded by serene mountain scenery. Overnight in Voringsfoss.
DAY 8: Norse Viking Traditions

Travel through Norway’s stunning landscapes, stopping at Stalheim for dramatic mountain views before continuing to the picturesque village of Gudvangen. En route, visit the impressive Tvindefossen waterfall, a striking natural highlight along the way. Explore Viking Valley to step back in time with recreated longhouses and cultural experiences, immersing yourself in the traditions and life of Norway’s Viking past. Overnight in Flåm.
DAY 9: Flåm

Choose your own adventure: enjoy a day-long fjord cruise through stunning waterways or opt for the scenic Flåm Railway followed by a thrilling zipline ride and bike descent back into the valley. Whichever path you take, today promises unforgettable vistas and outdoor excitement. Overnight in Flåm.
DAY 10: Norse Fjords

Begin the day in Flåm, surrounded by soaring peaks and sparkling fjords, then ascend to the Stegastein Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas over the valley below. Continue through the dramatic Lærdal Tunnel to reach the Borgund Stave Church, a striking 12th-century wooden masterpiece set amid quiet hills. Overnight in Tyrifjord.
DAY 11: Oslo

Tour Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital set between the Oslofjord and forested hills. Visit the remarkable Norse Folk Museum, where traditional buildings and cultural exhibits bring Norway’s history to life, and stroll through the dramatic sculptures of Vigeland Park, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks. Admire the striking design of the Oslo Opera House, where you can walk along the sloping rooftop for panoramic harbor views. Overnight in Oslo.
DAY 12: Return Home

The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 9 a.m. Early departures or later departures should plan their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Discovering Denmark and Norway tour scheduled for June 28 to July 9th, 2026 will be $4,050 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:
Non-refundable deposit of $600 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2025 receive a $100 discount, making the deposit $500.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2025. After December 31st, 2025, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.
Travel Insurance
Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Many reputable companies exist and you can look into any of them, but here are a few recommendations to consider: Allianz Global Assistance, TravelEx, World Nomads and Travel Guard.
