DAY 1: Travel Day

International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Sunday, September 20th, 2026 to arrive in Milan Malpensa airport by 10 a.m. on the tour start date of Monday, September 21st, 2026. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in prior to tour commencement.
DAY 2: Arrival in Milan

Arrive at Milan Malpensa Airport by 10 a.m., where the group will meet before traveling together into the city. View the magnificent Duomo and the elegant Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II, taking time to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of Milan’s historic center. In the afternoon, continue east toward Verona, passing by the scenic landscapes and pristine lakes of northern Italy. Overnight near Verona.
DAY 3: Verona

Travel to Verona, famed as the setting for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet. Explore the city’s medieval streets, admire its Roman arena, and soak in the charm of its historic piazzas. Take in the elegant balconies, narrow lanes, and river views that reflect centuries of romance and tradition. Overnight near Verona.
DAY 4: Venice

Journey to the canals of Venice, where gondolas glide past Gothic palaces and lively squares. Wander narrow lanes, cross the Rialto Bridge, visit Murano’s famed glassmakers, and enjoy the timeless beauty of the lagoon city. DAY 5: Modena & Florence

Travel south with a stop in Modena, known for its balsamic vinegar, Ferrari heritage, and UNESCO-listed cathedral. DAY 7: Tuscany’s Hill Towns

Venture into Tuscany’s hill towns, beginning with Volterra’s medieval walls, San Gimignano’s soaring towers, and Siena’s grand piazza, each offering a glimpse of Italy’s rich heritage and landscapes. DAY 8: Montepulciano & Civita Bagnoregio

Travel into the Tuscan hills to Montepulciano, a Renaissance town renowned for its elegant palaces and sweeping vineyard views. Stroll its cobblestone streets and take in the charm of its historic squares before continuing to Civita di Bagnoregio, a hilltop village dramatically perched on a narrow volcanic ridge. DAY 9: Ancient Rome

DAY 10: Pompeii & Naples

Take a train to the archaeological site of Pompeii, where ancient streets, villas, and frescoes reveal daily life suddenly halted by the eruption of Vesuvius. Explore its temples, baths, and amphitheater for a vivid glimpse of Roman civilization. In the afternoon, travel to Naples to visit the Sansevero Chapel, home to the extraordinary Veiled Christ sculpture, a masterpiece of Baroque artistry. Overnight in Rome.
DAY 11: Vatican

Spend the day in Vatican City, the world’s smallest independent state and home to unparalleled treasures of art and faith. DAY 12: Return Home

The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 9 a.m. Early departures or later departures should plan their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Fall in Love with Italy tour scheduled for September 2026 will be $3,450 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:

Non-refundable deposit of $600 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2025 receive a $100 discount, making the deposit $500.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2025. After December 31st, 2025, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

​Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.

Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
