Tour Itinerary
DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Wednesday, May 12th, 2027, to arrive in Athens by 8 pm on the tour start date of Thursday, May 13th, 2027. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate before the tour begins.
DAY 2: Arrival In Athens
Arrive in Athens, Greece by 8 p.m. for hotel check-in. The day is yours to spend exploring the city or just relaxing after your international flight. Take in views of the Parthenon illuminated against the night sky over Athens. Optional activities are available for an additional fee for those who arrive early. Overnight in Athens
DAY 3: Ancient Greece
Ascend the Acropolis to tour the ancient Greek monument complex, including strolling around the Parthenon. Stroll through the markets of Monastiraki Square and visit one of the many historic churches in downtown Athens. Overnight in Athens
DAY 4: Athens
Enjoy a final day in Athens by strolling through the Athens National Gardens, exploring Athens’ many archaeological sites and museums, shopping for souvenirs or people-watching in famous Syntagma Square. Overnight in Athens
DAY 5: Meteora
Experience spectacular landscapes with Byzantine monasteries perched on top of steep rocks in Meteora, Greek for “lofty” or “elevated”. The sandstone rock pillars, reaching heights of more than 600 meters, are topped by monasteries filled with priceless artifacts and stunning wall paintings. Overnight in Meteora
DAY 6: Pella & Kallipetra
Visit Pella, birthplace of Alexander the Great, to explore beautiful pebble mosaics, the enormous Agora and the House of Dionysus. Find serenity in the peaceful area surrounding the Holy Monastery of the Virgin Mary at Kallipetra. Overnight in Thessaloniki
DAY 7: Thessaloniki
Considered Greece’s cultural capital, Thessaloniki has a rich history and stunning architecture. Spend the morning visiting the Old Town, waterfront and White Tower, and the afternoon lazing on one of its many beautiful beaches. Overnight in Thessaloniki
DAY 8: Santorini
Soak in the crystal-clear waters of the South Aegean Sea and the perfect climate of Santorini. Santorini’s ruins and its barren caldera stand in stark contrast with its quaint towns and villages, whose peculiar houses with bright white façades and blue rooftops shine in the midday sun. DAY 9: Santorini/Oia
Enjoy a free day in Santorini and choose your own adventure, from a scenic boat tour or caldera hike to exploring local villages, beaches, and wineries. Spend the day discovering the island at your own pace or simply relaxing and taking in the Aegean views. In the evening, experience Oia’s iconic sunset and unforgettable views over the caldera. DAY 10: Santorini/Athens
Travel from Santorini back to Athens. Enjoy your final evening in Greece at your leisure, with time to explore Athens, relax at the hotel, or enjoy a final Greek dinner. Overnight in Athens.
DAY 11: Return Flight From Athens
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 9 a.m. Travelers departing very early or after 11 a.m. should arrange their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Greece: Athens, Meteora & Islands tour scheduled for May 2027 will be $3,450 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount* is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:
Non-refundable deposit of $450 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2026 receive a $100 discount*, making the deposit $350.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
*Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2026. After December 31st, 2026, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
Included in the tour cost:
Pre-tour information, such as what to pack and how to exchange currency
Expertise of a tour guide throughout the tour
All sight-seeing and visits, as noted in the itinerary
All on-tour transportation, including trains, ferries, rental vehicles, and buses
One carry-on suitcase and one personal item due to space restraints in rental vehicles
All accommodations, based on double occupancy; typically, 3/4 star hotels
Domestic flight between Thessaloniki and Santorini and between Santorini and Athens, up to $400 – participants will be responsible for flight expenses above this amount, if necessary.
Not included in the tour cost:
International airfare and any related expenses
Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
Expenses due to flight delays, strikes, inclement weather or other irregularities
Passport fees, visas (including ETIAS for EU entry) and visa photos as required
Personal items such as souvenirs, laundry services, beverages, snacks, and healthcare
Optional excursions as indicated in the itinerary
Meals as indicated in the tour itinerary
Checked baggage fees and excess baggage charges

Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.
Travel Insurance
Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Many reputable companies exist and you can look into any of them, but here are a few recommendations to consider: Allianz Global Assistance, TravelEx, World Nomads and Travel Guard.
