DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Tuesday, June 15th, 2027, to arrive in Copenhagen by 4 pm on the tour start date of Wednesday, June 16th, 2027. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in before the tour begins.
DAY 2: Arrival In Denmark
Arrive in Denmark’s capital and settle into the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Stroll along Nyhavn, Copenhagen’s famous harbor lined with brightly colored 17th-century houses, cafés, and wooden ships. Enjoy your first dinner together nearby, soaking in the charm of this quintessential Nordic setting. Overnight in Copenhagen
DAY 3: Historic Copenhagen
Explore some of Copenhagen’s most iconic sites. Admire the striking architecture and serene interior of the Church of our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke), known for its marble statue of the Christus. Continue to Rosensborg Palace, a Dutch Renaissance pleasure palace that now houses Denmark’s glittering Crown Jewels. Visit the Round Tower used for centuries as an observatory. DAY 4: Copenhagen’s Harbour
Visit the remarkably well-preserved, star-shaped 17th C. citadel, which has long protected Copenhagen’s harbor. Pause at the celebrated Little Mermaid statue, a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale. Learn of the brave men and women who risked their lives to aid others at the WWII Resistance Museum. Afternoon flight or train journey from Copenhagen to Stockholm. Overnight in Stockholm
DAY 5: Stockholm Museums
Begin the day at the world-renowned Vasa Museum, home to the 17th-century warship spectacularly salvaged from Stockholm harbor. Afterward, step into Sweden’s past at Skansen, the open-air museum and zoo showcasing historic buildings, folk traditions, and Nordic wildlife. Overnight in Stockholm
DAY 6: Drottingham Palace
Give your feet a rest by spending a relaxed morning in Stockholm. Otherwise, you can attend church services, go shopping along the long pedestrian zone filled with boutiques, art galleries and souvenir shops, or choose an optional sightseeing activitiy. After lunch, visit the magnificent home of the Swiss royals at Drottingham Palace. Overnight in Stockholm
DAY 7: Gamla Stan, Stockholm
Take a walking tour of Gamla Stan (Stockholm’s Old Town) and discover its history and mysteries. After lunch, take a short flight to Bergen, Norway—gateway to the fjords. Settle into your hotel and then enjoy an evening stroll along the colorful Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Bergen
DAY 8: Bergen And The Falls
Ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the city and fjords, then wander through the old Hanseatic wharf, lively fish market, and artisan shops. Leave Bergen and travel through dramatic landscapes dotted with fjords and waterfalls. Stop at Stalheim, known for its breathtaking valley views and cascades, before continuing to the charming village of Flåm, nestled deep in the fjords. Overnight in Flåm
DAY 9: Flåm
Ride the scenic Flåm Railway followed by a thrilling zipline ride and bike descent back into the valley. The path, which primarily runs downhill, promises unforgettable vistas and outdoor excitement, while being accessible to anyone comfortable on a bike. Those who would prefer, can take a round-trip ride on the train. Optional evening activity: warm yourself in a floating sauna before taking a cold plunge into the frigid fjord waters (additional fee applies). Overnight in Flåm
DAY 10: Fjord Adventures
Traverse the UNESCO-listed Nærøyfjord and Aurlandfjord in a clean and spacious electric boat that noiselessly glides through the water while towering cliffs soar high above and waterfalls plunge from tremendous heights into the waters. Pass tiny, historic settlements along the shore like Undredal and Dyrdal. Spend the afternoon enjoying the waterfalls that surround Flåm. Overnight in Flåm
DAY 11: Timeless Mountains & Churches
Begin the day in Flåm, surrounded by soaring peaks and sparkling fjords, then ascend to the Stegastein Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas over the valley below. Continue through the dramatic Lærdal Tunnel to reach the Borgund Stave Church, a striking 12th-century wooden masterpiece set amid quiet hills. DAY 12: Oslo
Tour Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital set between the Oslofjord and forested hills. Explore the remarkable Akershus Fortress perched on a clifftop above the harbor. Stroll through the dramatic sculptures of Vigeland Park, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks. Admire the striking design of the Oslo Opera House, where you can walk along the sloping rooftop for panoramic harbor views. Overnight in Oslo
DAY 13: Return Flight From Oslo
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 11 a.m. Travelers departing very early or after 11 a.m. should arrange their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Head North: Scenic Scandinavia tour scheduled for June 2027 will be $4,250 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount* is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:
Non-refundable deposit of $600 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2026 receive a $100 discount*, making the deposit $500.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
*Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2026. After December 31st, 2026, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Transfer flight or train from Copenhagen to Stockholm up to $150 – participants will be responsible for expenses above this amount, if necessary.
Transfer flight from Stockholm to Bergen up to $250 – participants will be responsible for expenses above this amount, if necessary.

Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.
Travel Insurance
Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Many reputable companies exist and you can look into any of them, but here are a few recommendations to consider: Allianz Global Assistance, TravelEx, World Nomads and Travel Guard.
