DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Tuesday, May 25th, 2027, to arrive in Paris by 1 pm on the tour start date of Wednesday, May 26th, 2027. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in before the tour begins.
DAY 2: Arrival in France
Arrive in Paris and drop off your luggage at the hotel before setting out to explore the charming neighborhood of Montmartre. Spend the afternoon wandering its winding streets, discovering artists’ studios and cafés, and visiting the iconic Sacré-Cœur Basilica. Take in sweeping views of Paris from the steps of Sacré-Cœur as the sun goes down. Overnight in Paris
DAY 3: Paris
Explore the Paris Panthéon, known as “the temple of the French nation”. After lunch, tour Les Invalides and the Musée de l'Armée (French military museum), famous as the final resting place of Napoleon and home to a large WWII collection. Ascend the Eiffel Tower for an incredible aerial view of the city of Paris. Overnight in Paris
DAY 4: Paris
​Begin the day at the Louvre, home to some of the world’s most celebrated works of art and historic treasures. Continue to Place de la Concorde before strolling along the elegant Champs-Élysées toward the magnificent Arc de Triomphe. Take in the grand boulevards, monuments, and architecture that make Paris one of the world’s most iconic cities. Overnight in Paris
DAY 5: Pegasus Bridge & Arromanches
Travel across the French countryside from the busy city of Paris to the north coast where many D-day battles occurred. Tour the rebuilt Pegasus Bridge and learn the story behind this important historical site. Visit Arromanches-les-Bains, known during World War II as Port Winston, and view remnants of the Mulberry Harbor. Ramble among the remains of a WWII German artillery battery at Longues-sur-Mer. Overnight in Bayeux
DAY 6: Beaches Of Normandy
Attend the Memorial Day service to pay your respects to the American troops who died and are buried at the Normandy American Cemetery. Stroll along the now-peaceful stretches of Omaha Beach and Utah Beach. Visit the 12th-century Angoville-au-Plain church, which was used as an emergency aid station for over 80 wounded soldiers during the D-Day fighting. Overnight in Mont Saint Michel
DAY 7: Mont-Saint-Michel
Explore the winding alleys, steep stairways, and charming shops of Mont-Saint-Michel, one of France’s most remarkable medieval landmarks and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Visit the historic abbey perched high above the surrounding bay and take in sweeping views of the Normandy coastline. In the afternoon, travel to Saint-Malo, where you can wander the fortified walls, explore the historic old town, and enjoy the dramatic coastal scenery. Overnight near Mont-Saint-Michel.
DAY 8: Fontainebleau / Versailles
Travel to the Château de Fontainebleau, a magnificent royal residence with more than 800 years of French history. Learn about its role during World War II, when the château was occupied by German forces and later used by Allied commanders. Alternatively, the group may choose to spend the day exploring the spectacular Palace of Versailles, former home of French kings and a symbol of France’s royal heritage. Optional visit to Paris France Temple. Overnight in Paris
DAY 9: London
Transfer from Paris to London on an early morning flight or train ride. Have lunch at the lively Borough market or the more intimate Maltby Street Market. Enjoy a visit to St. Paul’s Cathedral, which many believe was miraculously spared during WWII. Stroll the River Thames and take in iconic sites such as Tower Bridge and the Tower of London. Overnight in London
DAY 10: Imperial War Museum & Churchill War Rooms
View a recreation of the Blitz and learn about the World War II’s impact on individuals via personal accounts in the superb Imperial War Museum. Visit the underground bunker used as the central office for Winston Churchill and his War Cabinet. Optional: See a London play for an additional fee. Overnight in London
DAY 11: Cliffs Of Dover & Dover Castle
Journey to the southern English coast to see the spectacular white cliffs of Dover before exploring historic Dover Castle. Founded in the 11th century, the castle has played a vital role in defending England and has earned the nickname “Key to England.” Descend into the Secret War Tunnels, the underground command center used during Operation Dynamo to coordinate the evacuation of Allied troops from Dunkirk during World War II. Overnight in Canterbury
DAY 12: Canterbury And The Countryside
Explore the historic city of Canterbury, whose cathedral and medieval streets reflect centuries of English history. Learn about the city’s experience during World War II and its remarkable recovery following the bombing that damaged much of the historic center. Enjoy a traditional English afternoon tea in a quaint Kent village. Optional visit to London England temple. Overnight near London Heathrow airport
DAY 13: Return Flight From London
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 11 a.m. Travelers departing very early or after 11 a.m. should arrange their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Memorial Day: WWII France and England tour scheduled for May/June 2027 will be $3,950 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount* is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:

Non-refundable deposit of $500 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2026 receive a $100 discount*, making the deposit $400.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
*Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2026. After December 31st, 2026, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Tour Inclusions and Exclusions
Included in the tour cost:
Pre-tour information, such as what to pack and how to exchange currency
Expertise of a tour guide throughout the tour
All sight-seeing and visits, as noted in the itinerary
All on-tour transportation, including trains, ferries, rental vehicles, and buses
One carry-on suitcase and one personal item due to space restraints in rental vehicles
All accommodations, based on double occupancy; typically, 3 star hotels
Transfer by train or plane from Paris to London, up to $200 – participants will be responsible for expenses above this amount, if necessary.

International airfare and any related expenses
Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
Expenses due to flight delays, strikes, inclement weather or other irregularities
Passport fees, visas (including ETIAS for EU and ETA for UK entries) and visa photos as required
Personal items such as souvenirs, laundry services, beverages, snacks, and healthcare
Optional excursions as indicated in the itinerary
Meals as indicated in the tour itinerary
Checked baggage fees and excess baggage charges

​Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.

Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance.
