DAY 1: Travel Day
International flights should be arranged to depart from the US on or before Sunday, June 17th, 2026 to arrive in Copenhagen by 10 am on the tour start date of Monday, June 15th, 2026. Late arrivals will need to find their own way to the arranged hotel and may miss out on some tour activities. Discounts will not be provided for late arrivals. Early arrivals will need to secure any additional hotel nights and/or activities they wish to participate in prior to tour commencement.
DAY 2: Arrival in Copenhagen
Arrive in Denmark’s capital and settle into the city’s vibrant atmosphere. Stroll along Nyhavn, Copenhagen’s famous harbor lined with brightly colored 17th-century houses, cafés, and wooden ships. Enjoy your first dinner together nearby, soaking in the charm of this quintessential Nordic setting. Overnight in Copenhagen.
DAY 3: Copenhagen Landmarks
Explore some of Copenhagen’s most iconic sites. Admire the striking architecture and serene interior of the Church of our Lady (Vor Frue Kirke), commonly known as the cathedral of Copenhagen. Continue to Christiansborg Palace, home to the Danish Parliament, Supreme Court, and Royal Reception Rooms. Pause at the celebrated Little Mermaid statue, a tribute to Hans Christian Andersen’s beloved fairytale. Overnight in Copenhagen.
DAY 4: Train to Stockholm & Old Town Tour
Board a scenic train through southern Sweden as you journey to Stockholm. Upon arrival, dive into the cobbled streets of Gamla Stan (Old Town), one of Europe’s best-preserved medieval centers. Discover historic squares, colorful facades, and centuries-old charm before enjoying dinner. Overnight in Stockholm.
DAY 5: Stockholm Museums
Begin the day at the world-renowned Vasa Museum, home to the 17th-century warship spectacularly salvaged from Stockholm harbor. Afterward, step into Sweden’s past at Skansen, the open-air museum and zoo showcasing historic buildings, folk traditions, and Nordic wildlife. Overnight in Stockholm.
DAY 6: Stockholm to Bergen
Spend a relaxed morning in Stockholm for shopping or optional sightseeing. In the afternoon, take a short flight to Bergen, Norway—gateway to the fjords. Settle into your hotel and enjoy an evening stroll along the colorful Bryggen Wharf, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Overnight in Bergen.
DAY 7: Exploring Bergen
Discover Bergen’s maritime charm. Ride the Fløibanen Funicular to the top of Mount Fløyen for sweeping views of the city and fjords, then wander through the old Hanseatic wharf, lively fish market, and artisan shops. Overnight in Bergen.
DAY 8: Waterfalls and Scenic Norway
Leave Bergen and travel through dramatic landscapes dotted with fjords and waterfalls. Stop at Stalheim, known for its breathtaking valley views and cascades, before continuing to the charming village of Flåm, nestled deep in the fjords. Overnight in Flåm.
DAY 9: Fjord Adventures
Choose your own adventure: enjoy a day-long fjord cruise through stunning waterways or opt for the scenic Flåm Railway followed by a thrilling zipline ride and bike descent back into the valley. Whichever path you take, today promises unforgettable vistas and outdoor excitement. Overnight in Flåm.
DAY 10: Norse Countryside
Begin the day in Flåm, surrounded by soaring peaks and sparkling fjords, then ascend to the Stegastein Viewpoint for breathtaking panoramas over the valley below. Continue through the dramatic Lærdal Tunnel to reach the Borgund Stave Church, a striking 12th-century wooden masterpiece set amid quiet hills. Journey onward to Gol, a mountain town reflecting Norway’s traditional heritage. Overnight in Oslo.
DAY 11: Oslo
Tour Oslo, Norway’s vibrant capital set between the Oslofjord and forested hills. Visit the remarkable Viking Ship Museum, where exquisitely preserved vessels showcase Norway’s seafaring past, and stroll through the dramatic sculptures of Vigeland Park, one of the city’s most beloved landmarks. Admire the striking design of the Oslo Opera House, where you can walk along the sloping rooftop for panoramic harbor views. Overnight in Oslo.
DAY 12: Return Home
The tour concludes with hotel check-out by 11 a.m. Arrangements to the airport will be made for those leaving prior to 9 a.m. Early departures or later departures should plan their own transportation to the airport.
Tour Pricing And Payment Schedule
The Scenic Scandinavia tour scheduled for June 2026 will be $4,050 per person, based on double occupancy. A $100 discount is given for payment in full at initial deposit; otherwise, the following payment schedule applies per person:
Non-refundable deposit of $600 reserves spot - deposits made prior to Dec 31st, 2025 receive a $100 discount, making the deposit $500.

If signing up after any deposit deadline, payment for any previous deposits will be due upon sign-up. Prompt payment is appreciated. Late payments are assessed a $25 late fee.
Only 1 discount on tour pricing is permissible. A discount of $100 is available to all those who place their deposit prior to December 31st, 2025. After December 31st, 2025, a $100 discount is available to all those who pay their full tour price at the time of their initial deposit.

Flight between Stockholm, Sweden and Bergen, Norway

International airfare and any related expenses, aside from Stockholm to Bergen flight
Travel insurance
Expenses due to flight delays, strikes, inclement weather or other irregularities
Passport fees, visas (including ETIAS for EU entry) and visa photos as required
Personal items such as souvenirs, laundry services, beverages, snacks, and healthcare

Liability Waiver and Release Form
Please sign and return the Liability Waiver and Release Form for each tour participant. A parent or guardian must sign the form for any minor participants. A tour request is officially submitted when both the tour deposit and the Waiver and Release form are received by Aticus Travel, LLC for each tour participant.
Travel Insurance
Due to the strict cancellation policy, in order to protect your investment, and to provide you with peace of mind, we strongly recommend you purchase travel insurance. Many reputable companies exist and you can look into any of them, but here are a few recommendations to consider: Allianz Global Assistance, TravelEx, World Nomads and Travel Guard.
